Emma J. Hilton, Esq.

Emma is a Londonderry native whose desire to bring a work and family balance brought her out of the big firm environment into a smaller more hands on practice. She has the ability to tackle complex problems and the compassion and sensibility to make a simple request her highest priority. Attorney Hilton has attended some of the top schools in her field and has received a LLM in Taxation from the much coveted New York University in New York City. And is currently admitted in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Attorney Hilton’s experience includes Arthur Anderson, LLP in Boston, Massachusetts where she worked in their Private Client Service department. There she dealt with complex tax issues ranging from high end charitable giving to corporate stock options. Her tax compliance at Arthur Anderson, LLP included high net worth individuals to charitable remainder trusts and private foundations.

After gaining her LLM at NYU Attorney Hilton went on to work at McLane, Graf, Raulerson and Middleton PC, in Manchester, New Hampshire. There she worked in both the Tax and Trust and Estate Departments. She was an active member on their forms committee that reviewed the current estate planning documents used by the Estate Department. Presented at various tax seminars including the Annual New Hampshire Tax Forum on EGTRRA. Published Tax articles in major New Hampshire newspapers.

Attorney Hilton owns and operates Hilton Tax Associates operated a tax firm that specialized in giving tax advice and research to small to medium size law firms that can not afford a tax attorney on staff. The library includes a full up to date set of the BNA Portfolios, both the Federal tax and Estate planning series. Represent clients in tax matters before the IRS. Prepare returns both simple and complex.
